TRANSITIONING TO ACTION

CEOS members are committed to the delivery of timely, accurate, and comprehensive satellite data to help sustain, safeguard, and enhance life on Earth. CEOS annual plenary sessions provide an invaluable opportunity
to review the past year's work, chart a path for the future, and collaborate closely with space agency leaders.

The 21st CEOS Plenary will review members' space segment support to the inter-ministerial Group on Earth Observations, CEOS support to the Global Climate Observing System Implementation Plan, and further development of the CEOS Constellations concept for Earth system monitoring. CEOS Working Groups will report on their past year?|s progress and their future plans for information systems and services, satellite calibration and validation, and education, training, and capacity building.

The U.S. Geological Survey is pleased and honored to chair the 21st CEOS Plenary. We wish all plenary participants a productive year, and a memorable culmination of our
2007 work in Hawaii. Please join us in November!
